10/28/2008 - Meet VIKI 500 The innovative TABS AutoBiz team has done it again, creating a truly superior vehicle and inventory scanning tool for use by Auto Repair Shops, Tire Dealers, Wheel Shops, and Warehouses. When scanned, new or updated vehicle or inventory information is immediately sent via wireless to your TABS AutoBiz System. If a scanned VIN is not found in your TABS database, the integrated CARFAX VIN Decoder will be used to retrieve the vehicle year, make, model, and more. When scanning inventory, your TABS database is searched for a match, and if the UPC has not been assigned you can select the item that corresponds to the UPC. Physical inventory is a snap. Purchase Orders can be accessed, received, or created in seconds. VIKI 500 resides in a combined HP iPAC and Advanced Optical Barcode Scanner, with built-in proprietary hardware decoding. This hardware decoding dramatically improves readability of barcodes, even when badly printed, damaged, or scanned through windshields in bright sunlight. 5/15/2008 - Custom Vehicle Inspection Sheets Off-the-shelf standard Vehicle Inspection Sheets don't work for everyone. | 8/17/2006 - Vendor Catalogs with Photos & Specs TABS Shop Management System users who purchase from NTW's Pioneer Tire Supply, ATD (aka Heafnet), or AmPac, have tire and wheel catalogs resident for them at Point of Sale. The catalogs contain all the tires they can buy from those vendors at the customer's special pricing, from the manufacturers the customer wants to display. A tire or wheel chosen from the catalog can be ordered and sent to the Workorder without ever leaving the TABS AutoBiz System. Customers can also choose to move tires or wheels from the catalog to their regular stocking inventory.
